Our Roots.
Town & Country is a family-owned agency and was purchased by Bill and Tina Bequeaith in 2014.
Town & Country was originally founded in 1967 by three local businessmen. As an independent insurance agency, their goal was to provide reasonably-priced insurance protection from a variety of companies to both city and rural clients in Central Illinois.
Town & Country still resides at the same remodeled gas station office today, with firm roots to the past and high ambitions for serving the Central Illinois community into the future.

Bill Bequeaith
CIC, President
Bill Bequeaith joined Town & Country Insurance in 1998. He became a partner in 2000 and currently serves as the President of the company.
Bill is an alumni of Havana High School (’91), Spoon River College (’93) and Western Illinois University (’95). Bill earned his ‘CIC’ (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2005 and spends most of his time with Town & Country’s Business/Commercial clients.
Bill has served as President of the Canton Kiwanis Club (’02-’03) and as a Canton Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. Bill currently serves on the Finance Committee of the Canton Family YMCA Board and on the Business Development Committee of the Spoon River Partnership for Economic Development.
Tina Bequeaith
Corporate Secretary
Tina (Blevins) was born and raised in Canton and is a second grade teacher at Westview Elementary (since 2004).
Tina currently serves as the Secretary of the corporation. She obtained her Illinois Insurance License in 2013.
Tina is married to Bill Bequeaith. They have two adult children: T.J. and Jessica. Tina was a YWCA Board Member for seven years and served as the board’s Secretary for two of those years.
Stephen Clark
Producer
Stephen Clark joined Town & Country in 2013. He is an alumni of Canton High School (’07) and received a degree in Economics from Monmouth College (’11).
In 2009, he spent a semester studying in Northern Ireland. He is a Commissioner on the Canton Park District Board of Commissioners and an Ambassador for the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce. Stephen enjoys spending time with friends, attending St. Louis Cardinal games, and playing in golf outings.
Tiffany Hauk
Account Manager
Tiffany Hauk joined Town & Country in August of 2009. She is a graduate of Spoon River College (2003) with a Computer Information Systems Degree. She obtained her Property & Casualty license in April of 2007 and went on to obtain her Life & Health license in May of the same year. Tiffany specializes in personal lines sales and customer service.
Tiffany is married to Scott Hauk. Tiffany and Scott both grew up in Canton. They have two sons: Trenton and Abel; and one daughter: Arianna. Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and the outdoors.
Victoria Strong
Claims Advocate
Victoria joined Town & Country in March 2015. She obtained her Property & Casualty license in December of 2015. She moved to the Canton area in 2005 with her husband, Chris from Woodstock IL. Victoria is a graduate of Spoon River College and Western Illinois University.
She brings to Town & Country a variety of office experience, but most recently as a personal lines claims representative and a private investigator contracted by national insurance companies. Victoria is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and her hobbies include boating, traveling, and geocaching across the country.
Harriett Ellis
Account Manager
Harriett joined Town & Country in January 2021. She obtained her Property & Casualty License in January of 2020. She brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to T & C.
Harriett is a former business owner and has served on many boards and volunteer organizations including the Canton Chamber of Commerce, The Fulton County Farm Bureau, Graham Hospital Foundation, and The Fulton County Habitat for Humanity. Harriett, is also a Real Estate Agent with Gorsuch Realty & Auction.
In 2013, Harriett was named Canton Area Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year 2013.
